Dr. Francis Lagattuta stands as a pioneer in interventional pain management with over 30 years of experience. His impressive credentials include board certifications in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Pain Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. In the 1990s, he revolutionized the field by developing fluoroscopy-guided spinal injection techniques and subsequently trained more than 60 physicians through his fellowship program (1994-2015).

Dr. Lagattuta served as a consultant for the Chicago Bulls during their 1995-96 season and received the prestigious Clinician of the Year award from the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports, and Occupational Rehabilitation in 2002. His academic contributions include over 100 published abstracts on musculoskeletal and neuropathic condition diagnosis and treatment, along with more than 50 presentations at national and international conferences.

His leadership extended to the American Electrodiagnostic and Neuromuscular Society’s board of directors, where he also served as a board examiner. Dr. Lagattuta expanded his expertise to ultrasound-guided injections in 2007 and began performing regenerative treatments including PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) injections in 2017, completing over 2,000 such procedures throughout the spine and major joints. He specializes in treating various nerves and is an expert in neuropathy and fibromyalgia.
